Christmas in Spain
Christmas is almost upon us – only two days away – and, no doubt, you have been as busy as me with last minute shopping and that desperate dash to buy a present for the ‘impossible to find anything for’ close relative. It is enough to over-stretch the nerves of the bravest person!
Needless to say, Christmas in Spain, in many ways, is like anywhere else in the world. It is just as frenetic, just as ‘commercial’ and approaches at the same speed as an AVE train from Madrid to Valencia. Nothing seems to be happening and then, all of a sudden, it is upon you and past – leaving the same sense of wonder and pleasure…
