BEAUTIFUL FALLERAS WITH THE WRITER - BEFORE LA CREMÀ

La Cremà is the climax to Las Fallas and always takes place, every year, on the night of the 19th March (irrespective of the day of the week) within Valencia Province.  It is a terrific occasion with the most thrilling and greatest burnings of the effigies (ninots) taking place in the middle of Valencia city.  That is not say that the burnings are not mind boggling events in the surrounding towns – but they, obviously, have difficulty competing with the economic power of Valencia city and its accompanying scale.

But what is La Cremà like?

Well, despite my best efforts, I can rarely produce a description of La Cremà that is adequate!  However, thankfully, I have come across a superb, professionally made video showing the Las Fallas Cremà in Valencia city.  As you can see, the Las Fallas climax (La Cremà) is stunning and an appropriate ending to a truly marvelous fiesta.

Needless to say, if you missed Las Fallas this year (or have never seen it) then it will occur again next year.  So, book ahead and come to Valencia – and experience something breathtakingly wonderful and truly joyous.

Mind you, do not just come for La Cremà!  That is the Las Fallas climax but is preceeded by days of other events, as you can see from this article…
